All about me

Picture of Charlotte at work making some flowers outside

I am a little shy about coming forward so this is probably the most difficult page for me to write.

I am married with two teenage daughters. Jon, my husband, and I live in South West France with our cat Octavia. We enjoy spending time in our garden, watching the plants evolve through the seasons and take pleasure in the birds, animals and insects who, like us, benefit from it.

I started making paper flowers about 7 years ago as a craft project with friends. It is addictive and I haven't stopped since. The luxury of having an outside space means that I can really look at the plants around me when I am re-creating them in paper. I don't always try to mimic nature exactly, sometimes I go for convenience of display or idea of texture. In all cases it is a real passion and an excellent excuse to pause and take in the garden.
